CQB HOSTAGE, GUN AND KNIFE SEMINAR

 

Well what can I say; the seminar in June was absolutely awesome and even though Papasan was not there, he was in spirit. We were also graced by the presence of one of Papasan’s personal students from Norway - Kris Quin made the journey from Harstadt to train with all the students of the Hiken Dojo. We had a fabulous time and we are pleased to announce that Rakunin Dojo in Harstadt has now twinned with the Hiken Dojo. We have now truly put our hands accross the water in friendship and training and we can’t wait till the next time.

 

Kris was a credit to Papasan and you could see the influence within his taijutsu. You all should know that we at the Hiken Dojo have effectively christened Kriss with a new nickname; he is now known as Astrix which we thought suited him very well.

 

New Highland Dojo - Bogbain

 

We will be Joining forces with Bogbain farm and building our own purpose built dojo inside. This will allow us to develop a range of classes at the farm for Children, Adults and Corporations.

 

Sword Workshop -

 

July will see the first of our Sword Workshops. This is your chance to get to grips with the basics of Kenjutsu.

Ed Martin arrives in bonny scotland for the dojo’s first international seminar. This seminar is based around CQB. There will be a seminar DVD available to all students.

 

Bujinmag

Jock Brocas is the new face and contributor in Bujin Mag. Jock will be launching a new regular column titled "The Psychic Ninja"

 

The column will predominantly base itself around spirituality, psychic ability, intuition and it's relationship to taijutsu within our system and other aspects of Budo. You are invited to write to the magazine with any questions you have on the above subjects and Jock will endeavour to answer your questions in article format.
